Creative Practice, Climate and Community Gardens
MATCH is continuing its journey, this time with a series of dialogues. The MATCH Dialogues are a series of online events connecting professionals across the Mediterranean to explore how creative practice can respond to the climate emergency in community gardens and public green spaces.
In this first session, named Creative Practice, Climate and Community Gardens, MATCH artists will share the research they have developed during the programme and reflect on critical questions that connect their practices.
Ultimately the MATCH Dialogues will bring together artists, researchers and the public to share creative research on climate, community gardens and the realities of water scarcity, extreme heat and wildfires.
If you are interested in or work at the intersection of art, culture, environment, and public space, whether in policy, planning, or practice, these exchanges are built for you. Across five countries, participants will share approaches, challenges, and emerging models for integrating creative and ecological thinking into how public and community spaces are designed, governed, and sustained.
