MATCH Webinars recap
Exploring art, community & climate action
Over the past few months, MATCH hosted a series of 3 webinars, each opening up vital conversations about the intersection of art, sustainability, and community engagement in the Mediterranean region. Here’s what we explored:
- Webinar 1: Artistic practices, green spaces and community actions
Urban art meets ecology in inspiring projects like Moving Ground, Gardens of the Future, and Rails Garden. Speakers shared how creative actions can transform public spaces and empower communities.
- Webinar 2: Envisioning a Cultural Climate Change Response Impact Assessment (CRIA)
Experts presented emerging models for measuring the impact of cultural production on the environment - from heritage sites to community gardens - and discussed how art can be a tool for climate adaptation.
- Webinar 3: Networking and contemporary artistic production related to climate change and environmental issues
Artists from the MATCH project shared their experiences working with local communities and using their practice to address environmental issues. A dynamic exchange among artists, partners, and institutions from across the Mediterranean
