Gardens of the Future is a collective initiative in the heart of the old city of Nicosia, celebrating the circular economy and sustainable entrepreneurship to strengthen social cohesion among neighbours, communities and culture. The Gardens wish to attract an open and diverse audience seeking inspiration and motivation on how to interact with matters of sustainable development, and welcome creative, innovative, entrepreneurial, and curious individuals, organisations and companies island-wide. The Gardens seek collaboration with academia, government, the start-up ecosystem, and local designers, artists and creators to succeed in design innovation. 


D6:EU Director Argyro Toumazou is a founding Director of the Gardens, responsible for the cultural programme. It was here that we launched D6:EU in October 2020 to an audience of artists and academics, for a night of conversation, meeting friends old and new.
