Sümer, a multidisciplinary artist from Cyprus, explored the concept of ‘Borderless’ through photography and public interventions. His banners and artworks, developed collaboratively with local artists, sparked reflections on displacement and shared cultural identities. 

Amaia, a Bilbao-based artist, engaged with the landscapes of Primorska, drawing inspiration from the Slovene coat of arms and the interplay of mountains and sea. Her work combined photography, geometric drawing, and sculpture to produce minimalist designs and evocative creations. 

Hosted by BJCEM, ŠKUC Association, and GO! 2025, the residency concluded with a public presentation at Atelje Šempeter, showcasing video works and sculptures and fostering dialogue with attendees. The experience underscored the importance of adaptability, collaboration, and institutional support in promoting meaningful cultural exchange.
