We are happy to announce the first Capacity Building Workshop within the MATCH project. It presents an immersive gathering that will bring together participating artists and partners for the very first time!
It explores the deep connections between climate, culture, and community, using Athens as a living palimpsest - a city layered with histories, memories, and meaning.
We’ll revisit the radical vision of Raymond Duncan, whose early 20th-century ideas of sustainability and self-sufficiency anticipated today’s urgent conversations around the climate crisis, degrowth, circular economy, and more.
The event builds on the Duncan Dance Research Center’s past work, like MOVING GROUND and PLANT, and launches new dialogues through the CRIA Tool, a cultural impact assessment that will guide and evolve with the MATCH project.
