1st MATCH Residency begins

MATCH Residency

Garance Maurer and
Annalisa Zegna

MATCH just welcomed artists Garance Maurer and Annalisa Zegna to the first MATCH Residency, hosted at the historic Duncan Dance Research Centre (DDRC) in Athens, Greece. The residency will run from 6 October to 1 November 2025.

Located on a hilltop overlooking the Saronic Sea, DDRC is more than a space – it’s a living experiment at the intersection of dance, ecology, and everyday life.

Produced by Delta Pi, MATCH supports artistic research and collaboration focused on environmental and social transformation. Maurer and Zegna – both deeply engaged in eco-social and site-specific practices – will spend the month exploring fire ecologies, community knowledge, and collective creative processes rooted in place.

The residency will be followed by digital reflections, and culminates in a public exposition in April 2026. Stay tuned!
